Ethiopian food has become a favorite among foodies worldwide. The food is light, healthy and flavorful, ranging from very spicy to very mild. Prepare a traditional Ethiopian breakfast for your family and friends including chechebsa, fuul (fava beans) and herbed Eritrean tea. You will be provided an ingredient list and a link prior to class to cook along.
Eligible UCare members may get up to a $15 discount on many community education classes in Minnesota. Members must have UCare insurance at the time of registration and throughout the duration of the class. Members need to provide their UCare member ID number when registering for class over the phone. Limits and restrictions may apply.
Mimi Selam is vivacious cooking instructor who is passionate about cooking in general and Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine in particular. She finds cooking very relaxing and curative beyond it's culinary advantages.
