Tai Chi for Arthritis, Chronic Pain and Balance

This gentle Sun Tai Chi form improves mental and physical capacity as well as relaxation, balance and vitality. Tai Chi helps relieve pain, increase range of motion and improve quality of life. This class is recommended for arthritis and fall prevention. Can be done sitting or standing. Wear flat shoes (sandals not recommended) loose, comfortable clothing. Instructor is certified in Tai Chi and has over 17 years of teaching experience.

Balance Life Tai Chi - Christine T. Morgan

Instructor

Christine has been practicing Tai Chi since the mid 80s and teaching for over 17 years. She was teaches Yang Short Form, SUN Forms, and Qigong. Christine currently is a certified Tai Chi Instructor, a certified Qigong Instructor, and a Level III instructor with American Tai Chi and Qigong Association (over 2,000 hours of teaching students). Christine is also a member of the Tai Chi for Health Community.

Christine is the President of the Hearing Loss Association of America – Twin Cities Chapter. She is also a certified Hearing Loss Support Specialist, a member of the MN Commission on the Deaf, Deaf Blind and Hard of Hearing, and sits on several Advisory Committees related to hearing loss in the Twin Cities. Christine is a hearing loss coach for people with hearing loss and a trainer for both businesses and communication partners to assist them in improving communication with people with hearing loss.

Lionel has been practicing Yang and SUN family forms for several years. Lionel is a Certified Tai Chi Instructor and teaches SUN family form. He is a member of the American Tai Chi and Qigong Association and the Tai Chi for Health Community.

Lionel is the Treasurer/Secretary for the Hearing Loss Association of America – Twin Cities Chapter and a certified Hearing Loss Support Specialist. He sits on several Advisory Committees related to hearing loss in the Twin Cities. Lionel is also a hearing loss coach for people with hearing loss and a trainer for both businesses and communication partners to assist them in improving communication with people with hearing loss.
