Fall 2022 ANOKA T-BALL LEAGUES

Play Ball! Join us this fall for some t-ball league in Anoka. A Saturday morning or a Sunday evening league are being offered. T-Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, running, fielding and throwing. Young players will gain an understanding of the fundamental rules of baseball. The main focus of the Anoka t-ball program is to provide age appropriate skill development, social interaction, parent involvement, and non-competitive contests.

WHO:         Ages 4-5-6 year olds

WHEN:      A) Saturday Mornings Aug 6– Sept 24 (not on Sept 3)

                  B) Sunday Evenings Aug. 7 – Sept. 25 (not on Sept. 4)

                  Practices the 1^st three weeks, games the last four weeks

WHERE:    Wilson School (3 fields)

                   Sorensen Park (1 field)

                   Lincoln School (1 field)

                   Note pick your practice site, games could be at all sites.

TIMES:       Saturday Practices: (45 minutes) 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. or 9:45 - 10:30 a.m.

                    Saturday Games: 1 hour - 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

                   Sunday Practice: (45 minutes) - 5:00 - 5:45 p.m. or 5:45 - 6:30 p.m.

                   Sunday Games: 1 hour - 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

                   (Note – a schedule will be handed out at first practice)

COST:        $75 (includes a t-shirt, hat, and participation award, Trusted Coaches screening)

Volunteer Coaches Needed – Volunteer coaches are needed to lead these teams. If you are looking for a rewarding experience please consider becoming a t-ball coach. All Coaches will be subjected to a background check through the Trusted Coaches Program. Coaches will receive a t-shirt. If we don’t get enough volunteer coaches the program will be cancelled.
