  • Ageless Yoga

    Ageless Yoga is perfect for older adults. We will move through seated, standing, traditional and modified yoga poses with additional focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, and restorative breathing promoting stress reduction and relaxation. This class is shoe-and joint-friendly and we do not get down on mats. Dress in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. You will need a sticky yoga mat for foot grip.   • Body Step

    A cardio/core workout step class using your body weight as resistance. This weight-bearing aspect is increased every time you step up, improving bone health and density. You will get a great cardio workout while also building muscle, and improving coordination while burning calories. Core conditioning will take place the last part of class, giving you strength and flexibility.   • Bone Boosters

    Boost your bones by adding strength training to your exercise routine! Strength training will build your bones and benefit your joints by strengthening the surrounding tissues, maintaining alignment to decrease wear and tear. We will use hand weights, resistance bands, and yoga balls for a total body workout. Participants must be able to get up and down from an exercise mat. Modifications will be provided for beginners and also those further along their fitness journey. Class includes balance training. Online participants need: Cushioned mat or surface, hand weights, resistance band, and yoga ball.   • Co-Ed Volleyball - 18+

    Walk-ins are allowed. Fee at door is $5 (exact change please). Join your friends and neighbors in a fun evening of open volleyball. Bring your own ball. This is not league play; teams are formed as players arrive. Open Gym passes serve as receiving a discounted rate versus paying per session, they do not give priority to play. No visitors allowed for safety and capacity reasons. Eligible UCare members may receive up to a $15 discount on many Community Education classes when registering over the phone.   • Men's Basketball - 25+

    Walk-ins are allowed. Fee at door is $5 (exact change please). Hit the court for a fun evening of open basketball. Bring your own ball, and one light and one dark colored t-shirt. Open Gym passes serve as receiving a discounted rate versus paying per session, they do not give priority to play.     Tone your muscles and build a body that helps you burn calories while enjoying a judge free class that is suitable for all!   • NEW Strength and Stretch

    In this online class we will use our body weight (and optional hand weights) to strengthen and tone our major muscle groups. We will then go through stretching exercises to increase range of motion, flexibility and lengthening of our muscles. Together will build your strength and mobility. Mat and water, optional weights. Can use a stability ball or chair if preferred. Eligible UCare members may receive up to a $15 discount on many Community Education classes when registering over the phone.   • Pickleball - Thursday - Court 1 Reservations (Click to see additional dates)

    Reserve a court to play pickleball! On listed Thursday evenings Courts 1 and 3 are available for reservation. One person will reserve a court for their group and they will stay on that court during the time slot. When your group arrives, they will need to give the name holding the reservation at check-in and will be directed to the correct court. All participants must sign-in at the desk before starting play. Bring your own equipment. Court Reservations are made through our online website. Walk-ins are not allowed during Thursday sessions.

The game is played with a hard paddle and wiffle ball. Bring your own pickleball paddle and wiffle ball or use ours.     Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. Learn low-impact exercises for the health of your mind and body that help improve balance, reduce aches and pains, support heart health, and more. Flow through a series of movements performed in a slow focused manner and accompanied with deep breathing. Dress in comfortable clothing.     Learn easy choreography to music from all over the world to improve coordination, balance, and agility while having fun and working up a sweat! No experience needed.
