Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. A Parent/Guardian must remain with children at all times. Camps are held rain or shine, as Boulder Pointe has an indoor barn and arena. Parents will need to electronically complete a Release and Liability Form (one per person) on Boulder Pointe's website. Students should bring a water bottle and snack. Meet at Boulder Pointe Equestrian and Event Center, dressed for the weather inside and outside.
