About Adults with special needs

The Adults with Special Needs program (also known as "Project Power") provides specialized classes for adults with disabilities, offering accommodation services for all program participants.

Activities and classes offer educational, recreational and social activities for participants that practice life skills to increase independence, communication, and community integration. Activities and classes are offered in a wide range of styles and formats to meet the needs of students, including arts and crafts; cooking and dining; health and safety; music and theater; recreation, athletics and exercise.

  • Bingo

    Join friends for a fun night of bingo. Everyone will win a prize! Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Instructor: Chris. Eligible UCare members may get up to a $15 discount on many community education classes in Minnesota. Members must have UCare insurance at the time of registration and throughout the duration of the class. Members need to provide their UCare member ID number when registering for class.   • Bowling

    Start the weekend off with a strike, a spare or even a gutter ball! It does not matter as long as you are having fun hanging out with friends. Food is available to order (optional).
