Give an old quilt new life! Whether you have one at home or choose to rescue a quilt from the thrift store, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to transform it into a beautiful jacket. Basic sewing skills recommended. Supply fee of $8 fee paid to instructor for pattern or bring your own. Supplies: Sewing machine, if desired, pattern (or purchase from instructor for $8), thread, fabric scissors, fabric marking pen or chalk, pins, ruler, seam ripper and a twin size or larger quilt.

Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
