Families who live outside of Anoka-Hennepin School District boundaries are welcome to register after the preliminary registration lottery.Registration lotteryRegistration for four-year-old preschool - option 3 is done through a lottery, giving everyone an equal chance to receive their first choice class. Registrations from families who live in the Anoka-Hennepin School District that are received by 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, will be included in the lottery. Once the lottery is complete, confirmations of child’s class placement will be emailed. Registrations received after this date will be placed as space is available. Families who live outside of the district may register for Anoka-Hennepin Preschool beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2018. Registrations are welcome throughout the year and will be placed as space is available.Tuition assistance / sliding tuition scaleKnowing the financial strain that tuition may place on a family's budget, a sliding tuition scale is available for four-year-old preschool - option 3. Based on income and family size, tuition is reduced from 50 percent up to no tuition.Proof of income is required for tuition assistance and complete registration. Proof of income must be turned in within two days of class registration or no later than 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, to be included in the lottery registration. Residents of Anoka-Hennepin schools are given priority for tuition assistance. Proof of income option 2: Provide proof of all income for each family member. Proof of income may include a recent tax form, W-2 form, two most recent pay stubs, financial aid statement, or statement from employer on company letterhead.Sibling discountWhen two children from the same family are enrolled in four-year-old preschool - option 3, a 50 percent tuition discount will be given to the second child. Additional children will also receive 50 percent tuition discount, up to four total children per family.
