This beginner fishing class is a comprehensive, hands-on workshop designed to transform novices into confident anglers. The program focuses on building a solid foundation in equipment, technique, and conservation. We'll cover rods and reels, tackle, casting and fish identification and the importance of ethical angling. This course will conclude with an at-the-water fishing session at Coon Rapids Regional Dam from 4:30-7pm (parents/guardians are responsible for transportation and may accompany their student for this excursion).
