We offer preschool classes to support children with experiences, skills and knowledge for continual learning. Classrooms offer a supportive environment that includes children of all abilities and are led by a licensed teacher.
Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and care for them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Please note that riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. Please Note: Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks and plenty to drink. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day.
Campers need to bring:Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of the barn. No flip flops!Sunscreen/hat/bug sprayWater bottle/drink/snacks and a lunchTreats for the horse if you wantHelmets are providedParent drop-off is at 9 am and parent pick-up is at 3 pm. Sorry, parents are not allowed to stay for the day. However there is a “show” for the parents Fridays of weeklong camps at 1:30pm! This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week. Camps are held rain or shine, as Boulder Pointe has an indoor barn and arena. Parents will need to electronically complete a Release and Liability Form (one per person) on Boulder Pointe's website. Meet at Boulder Pointe Equestrian and Event Center.
