    Red Cross Babysitting Instructors - Community School Program Instructors Become trained and receive certification to be a Babysitting Instructor through the Red Cross. Community Ed Youth Instructors and Asst. Instructors are responsible for the delivery of the curriculum of Community School Programs for Preschool-Grade 8. Dates: Training Nov 4 and Nov 6. 6pm to 9 pm. We train you to be an instructor. Flexible dates and hours to instruct the class. Each middle school will set up class time with the instructor. Location: Anoka Middle, Coon Rapids Middle, Jackson Middle, Northdale Middle, Oak View Middle, Roosevelt Middle Duties include: Red Cross Babysitting Instructor - Class planning. Class curriculum will be provided. Provide student safety and program presentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Red Cross Certification required we will train you. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant work experience and previous experience with community school activities preferred. Advanced training or college degree preferred for instructor positions preferred. Previous experience working with middle school ages students is preferred.
