    Intro to BMX Racing – Rum River BMX Discover the thrill of BMX racing! Our fun and inclusive Intro to BMX is designed for new riders that can pedal a bike—no prior experience or USA BMX membership required. BMX racing is a great way for kids and adults alike to stay active, build confidence, develop life skills, and most importantly, have fun! In this hands-on course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the sport, including, what BMX is, types of bikes, and safety. And yes—you’ll get on the track! Students will receive personalized riding instruction and get the chance to practice on our professionally maintained BMX course. No bike? No problem! We provide a fleet of HARO race bikes and full-face helmets in various sizes. All you need to bring is: Long pants- Long sleeves -Closed-toe athletic shoes Come ready to ride, learn, and connect with others in a positive, high-energy environment. Let’s hit the track!     NFL YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL – EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE 2026 Spring Leagues - Roosevelt MS in Blaine Regular Leagues for Grades K – 8th (ages 6 to 14). Presented by: YMCA North and Anoka-Hennepin Community Ed Athletics NFL FLAG FOOTBALL is coming to Anoka-Hennepin Community Education! You must register on-line at: YMCA-North (Click on YMCA North to be brought to their registration website) For more information call 612-230-9622 Are you ready for some football? Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country! This 6 week season held on Sundays is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format. We try to limit teams to 10-11 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football. Games will take place between 9:00am - 7:00pm on Sundays (subject to change). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks prior to the season start date. Younger divisions typically play earlier in the day while the older divisions typically play later. Practices take place one hour prior to game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Participants will receive an NFL reversible jersey and flag belt, theirs to keep! There are no try-outs! Everyone participates! Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coaches meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season! There is also a team chat function to stay in contact with coaches and other players on the team. Once rosters are confirmed, you will get a notification that the team pages are ready.
  • Elem - Volleyball with Tournament

    Teams will be made up of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who have played or would like to play volleyball in a competitive setting. Join the volleyball team as we brush up on our skills and practice for the annual tournament that will be held on Saturday, February 28 at Northdale Middle School, 11301 Dogwood St NW, Coon Rapids (Park in Main lot and enter the building through door #2). Transportation to and from the tournament is the parent's responsibility. Fee includes instructional sessions, tournament registration, and team t-shirt. Refreshments at the tournament will be sold separately.
