I understand that as a Metro North ABE- Blaine Learning Lab student, I am RENTING this Chromebook with charger and/or HotSpot (referred to going forward as “technology”) for the purpose of attending class online and/or for distance learning. All technology is school property and is my responsibility to take care of.
I agree to pay a one time $40.00 non-refundable rental fee for each device.
The Chromebooks and chargers are valued at $410 and HotSpots are valued at $84. If you return the technology damaged you will be asked to pay additional damage fees. If you do not return the technology upon exit of the program, all devices will be deactivated, reported as stolen, and you will be asked to pay the full replacement costs. If the technology is stolen while in your possession, you may be asked to provide a police report.
