Yoga/Pilates Combo

Focus is on the central powerhouse muscles that include your abs, back, buttocks, and upper leg muscles. Develop core stability to maintain proper posture and prevent injuries. Combined with yoga to lengthen and strengthen.

Bring to class:

  • Water
  • Yoga mat
  • Hand weights from 1 to 8 lbs.
  • Blocks (optional)

Melissa T Fitness

Instructor

Melissa is an International Sport Science Association (ISSA) certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She has been in the fitness industry and teaching for Anoka-Hennepin Community Education since 2001. Melissa teaches group fitness classes, as well as fitness and nutrition seminars.

Melissa's personal philosophy is that it doesn't matter where we start from, it's where we go and what we do that matters. If we try, even baby steps will get us there. She believes everyone has the ability to make yourself the best you can be, she just helps you with the road map to getting it done.
