Body Step

Adult - Winter/Spring 2024

A cardio/core workout step class using your body weight as resistance. This weight-bearing aspect is increased every time you step up, improving bone health and density. You will get a great cardio workout while also building muscle, and improving coordination while burning calories. Core conditioning will take place the last part of class, giving you strength and flexibility. 

Bring to class:

  • Water
  • Yoga mat
  • Optional hand weights

Eligible UCare members may get up to a $15 discount on many community education classes in Minnesota. Members must have UCare insurance at the time of registration and throughout the duration of the class. Members need to provide their UCare member ID number when registering for class over the phone. Limits and restrictions may apply.

I am a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer, specializing in kickboxing, yoga, step and pilates. I have had the pleasure of working with community education and helping participants improve their health since 2003. Along with instructing classes, I also enjoy hiking, camping and spending time with family.
