Pour painting is an innovative way to use acrylic paint to create an art piece. Learn the process of mixing acrylic paints with other materials to give it a more fluid consistency so that it can be poured directly onto a canvas. An 8 in. x 10 in. canvas and all supplies are included. Please bring a box to take work home in.

Vanessa Merry

Instructor

Vanessa Merry’s passion for art began at young age. As a child she attended painting classes with her mother which gave her a first-hand look at the creative process behind a work of art. The artists she met in these classes inspired her, and then and there she knew that wanted to be an artist too. To help fulfill this dream, Vanessa immersed herself in art and took as many art classes as she could. She also entered her first art competition at the age of 16 where she won Best in Show with a pen and ink drawing of Icarus falling.
