Have you ever seen a mural before? They’re BIG paintings that go on walls and they’re meant to make spaces more colorful, more inviting, and just plain better. In this class our lucky participants will work with a teaching artist to design and execute on a mural of their very own. We will start with design- we will talk, imagine, sketch, and lay out different ideas that will ultimately come together into a single composition. Then we will draw out our design on large panels, and finally we will get a chance to paint using high quality, brightly colored mural paints. Come make your mark- everyone is welcome in this class, regardless of skill or experience!
