Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in a barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with a ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in arena, no trails and consists of learning how to steer, stop, turn and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day.
Campers need to bring:
Parent drop-off is at 9 am and parent pick-up is at 3 pm. Sorry, parents are not allowed to stay for the day. Camps are held rain or shine, as Boulder Pointe has an indoor barn and arena. Parents will need to electronically complete a Release and Liability Form (one per person) on Boulder Pointe's website. Meet at Boulder Pointe Equestrian and Event Center.
