I started teaching the Rhythm and Bells class at Project Power in 2010. I am a board certified music therapist and I have been working with adults and children with special needs for 14 years. I use a lot of my knowledge as a music therapist to structure my classes. My main goal is to engage everyone in a creative and active way through the music; making beautiful music happens to be an amazing product of this process. My favorite part of teaching classes is to see the class participants create something and find pride in the songs they present. The smiles and determination I see in their faces is why I continue to teach.
