Elem - Braille for Beginners

Youth - Fall 2024

This engaging and interactive Braille class is designed for sighted students in grades K-5. Through fun activities and games, students will develop a basic understanding of the Braille code, enabling students to read and write Braille characters. They will also learn about the importance of Braille in facilitating communication and independence for individuals with visual impairments. This course aims to promote inclusivity, empathy, and the appreciation of diversity. Join us to embark on a journey of tactile learning and expand your knowledge of Braille!
