MS - FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge

Youth Activities and Classes / Youth 6th to 8th grade / STEM -
Youth - Fall 2025

Join the excitement of FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) and dive into robotics, teamwork, and innovation! In this after-school program, students in grades 6-8 work as a team to design, build, and program an autonomous LEGO robot to complete missions on a themed playing field. They also collaborate on an Innovation Project, researching and presenting a creative solution to a real-world problem tied to the annual theme, such as sustainability or exploration.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-On Learning: Build and code LEGO robots using Spike Prime kits, guided by coaches, to solve challenging missions.
  • Teamwork & Creativity: Develop collaboration and problem-solving skills through the Robot Game and Innovation Project.
  • Competition: Prepare for a regional tournament in late November or early December, with potential advancement to state-level events.

Commitment:

  • Dedication: Regular attendance, active participation, and a willingness to learn are essential for team success.
  • Parental Support: Encourage your child’s engagement and assist with transportation to practices and events.
