Outdoor Adventure with Wilderness Inquiry

Adults with special needs / Laugh and Learn -
PP - Fall 2025

Wilderness Inquiry’s mission is to connect people of all ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities through shared outdoor adventures so that all people can equitably experience the benefits of time spent in nature. Participants will explore nature and engage in a scavenger hunt. You will also participate in a shelter building activity. We’ll teach you the different styles of shelters you can build with found items, tarps, and ropes. Learn survival skills for the outdoors and discover how prepared you are for the challenge! Escort: Pam

I was born and raised in Minnesota. As an adult, I have lived in Colorado, California and Minnesota. I love to read and to bake. I have worked with children and adults with special needs for 10 years. I have been working with Project Power since 2015. I have probably taught almost every class in Project Power at this point, and supervised a whole lot of field trips! I absolutely love working with anyone with special needs. It brings me joy working with them, and seeing all the smiles on everyone’s faces each time we are together. We have so much fun!
