Dive into the world of sewing in this hands-on beginner's class! You need to know how to use a sewing machine. You'll learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine while creating three exciting and practical projects. We'll build your skills from the ground up, starting with a cozy reading pillow, moving on to a professional-looking zipper pouch, and finishing with a creative doll or animal.  This class is perfect for those new to sewing or anyone looking for a fun skills refresher. Required Supplies:

  • Reading Pillow - Two yards of comfy flannel or cotton fabric (can be two different one yards of fabric)
  • Zipper Pouch - 12 inch zipper and 2 fat quarters
  • Doll or Animal - scrap fabric

Needed for every class:

  • Thread - light brown, white, gray or black- pick one color
  • Sewing or fabric scissors
  • Seam ripper
  • Pins or wonder clips
