In Anime club we got you covered. Come join in the otaku fun as we learn how to draw characters, animals, cool swords, radical city scapes and more. An artist will lead us in drawing practices at the start of each meeting then we will have a chance to work on anime art of our own using artist pencils, Mangaka pens, and alcohol ink markers. Every week we will have plenty of time to talk about our favorite shows and comics and nerd out with our fellow club members.   • Elem - Introduction to Orchestra and Band

    Introduction to Orchestra and Band Do you love music? Have you always wanted to play an instrument? Join this introductory class where students will learn the fundamentals and basics of an instrument of their choice (see choices listed below) in a band or orchestra ensemble. No experience necessary! Students will be grouped into two separate groups of strings and band instruments. The curriculum uses a combination of traditional teaching methods and modern songs to help encourage the students to practice and experience the fun of music. Students and parents will have access to the online student portal that helps them keep track of homework assignments and a fun practice log system with awards for minutes logged. The program culminates with a final rehearsal and a special evening performance for friends and family on Friday, May 8th at the Anoka Middle School Auditorium. Students need to bring their instrument to every practice and the performance. Instrument choices for band: Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone. Instrument choices for Orchestra: Violin, Viola, Cello Instruments: Students who are currently enrolled in Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts will have the option to check out an instrument from Ms. Whitcomb. If this applies to your child, please indicate the 1 st and 2 nd choice for their instrument on the registration form. We have a limited number of instruments available so register and request to borrow an instrument early for best selection.   • Elem - KPop Demon Hunters Choir

    Does your child love K-Pop? Do they belt out every lyric from the popular KPop Demon Hunters? Turn their passion into power! In this 10-week program, we're not just singing—we're creating a stage-ready vocal group. This program teaches proper vocal technique, harmony, and stage presence—all while mastering their favorite K-Pop songs! The grand finale? On the last day, we will walk over to the Anoka Middle School Auditorium for a final rehearsal, followed by a spectacular performance for friends and family that very evening! We will recreate famous works of art like Monet’s Water Lilies, Munch’s The Scream, Oldenburg’s Spoonbridge and Cherry and many others, all in clay. Make room to display these masterpieces!     Join us for an ornament making party. We will set up 4 stations, each with a different ornament to make. You and your child will be creating a sparkling Christmas Tree ornament and a cute as can be penguin ornament, and more! This is a great class for siblings to attend together!
