  • Bone Boosters

    Boost your bones by adding strength training to your exercise routine! Strength training will build your bones and benefit your joints by strengthening the surrounding tissues, maintaining alignment to decrease wear and tear. We will use hand weights, resistance bands, and yoga balls for a total body workout. Participants must be able to get up and down from an exercise mat. Modifications will be provided for beginners and also those further along their fitness journey. Class includes balance training. Online participants need: Cushioned mat or surface, hand weights, resistance band, and yoga ball. All participants should: Dress in comfortable clothing and wear athletic shoes Have water handy Cushioned yoga mat Eligible UCare members may receive an allowance to spend toward community education classes.     Learn easy choreography to music from all over the world to improve coordination, balance, and agility while having fun and working up a sweat! No experience needed. Dress in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. You will need water and a towel. Eligible UCare members may receive an allowance to spend toward community education classes.
