  • AT/Rec - Andover Youth Wrestling - Pre-School Tough Tumblers

    2024-2025 Andover Youth Wrestling - Pre School Tough Tumblers Connor Schlotfeldt and the Andover Huskies Youth Wrestling Association is offering a Pre-School age Tough Tumblers class that is open to all kids that are potty-trained through Kindergarten. Classes will be held in the Andover High School wrestling room, providing a fun and safe environment to develop gross motor skills and body control. Kids will learn how to forward/backward roll, how to move like animals, (duck walk, bear crawl, crab walk, seal slide), and some basic movements that are used in wrestling and how to play/work with a partner. Class dates: Two 6 week sessions that will meet on Wednesdays First session: November 6, 13, 20, December 4, 11, & 18, 2024 - not meeting on November 27 Second Session: January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12, 2024 Where: Andover High School Wrestling Room Times: 6:00 to 6:45 pm Pricing - $55 for each session.

    2024 ANOKA EVENING T-BALL LEAGUES Play Ball! Join us for this evening t-ball league in Anoka. T-Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, running, fielding and throwing. Young players will gain an understanding of the fundamental rules of baseball. The main focus of the Anoka evening t-ball program is to provide age appropriate skill development, social interaction, parent involvement, and non-competitive contests. League will be 7 weeks, first 3 weeks will be practices and last 4 weeks will be games. WHO: Ages 4-5 and 6–7 WHEN: Pick your league night - May 6 to June 27, 2024 A) Monday league: 4-5 year old division B) Tuesday league: 6-7 year old division C) Wednesday league: 4-5 year old division D) Thursday league: 6-7 year old division WHERE: Note pick your practice site, games could be at all sites. Wilson Elementary School (3 fields) Lincoln Elementary School (1 field) Sorensen Park (1 field) TIMES: Practice: 45 minutes - 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. or 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. (will rotate) Games: 1 hour - 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Note – a schedule will be handed out at first practice, could practice at either time) COST: $79 (includes a t-shirt, hat, and participation award) Volunteer Coaches Needed – Volunteer coaches are needed to lead these teams. If you are looking for a rewarding experience please consider becoming a t-ball coach. All Coaches will be subjected to a background check. Coaches will receive a t-shirt. If we don’t get enough volunteer coaches the program will be cancelled. Registration deadline is Friday, April 12, 2024
  • PS - Indoor Soccer (Parent/Child)

    Non-competitive class designed to develop the basic skills of soccer including ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork. The goal is for all children to participate and enjoy learning the fun game of soccer. This class is not intended to be a league. Wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes; shin guards recommended. Bring a soccer ball labeled with name, if desired.
  • PS - My Little Horse Camp (Parent/Child)

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of different horses and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Camps are held rain or shine as we have an indoor barn and arena. Link to Release and Liability Form must be completed for each person; link to the form will be included in your confirmation email.
